My Daughter Ashley
Nov 27, 2002

My daughter Ashley was a passenger in a car October 27, 2002 her and the boy in the back got killed. I got the call at 3 in the morning. I couldn't believe it and still can not cope. I cry all the time I can not stop. Her boyfriend was driving and he was making a left hand turn and someone going more then 60 miles an hour hit them.

Ashley's boyfriend was in the hospital for a few days with kidney and liver damage. I have called him and told him I did not blame him because it was God's will. I told him I loved him because my daughter loved him so much. He is grief sticken
also.

The problem is I am in my second marriage and my children hated my husband. Ashley even moved out in July and lived with her boyfriend and his grand parents and said if Ken was gone she would come back. I still saw her usually every week and talked to her just about everyday. Three days before she died I asked her if she would come home if Ken was gone she said no she liked her independent.

My husband has said twice to me that the bible says your days will be long if you honor your mother and father. He is so cruel. Ashley was brought up in church and was saved when she was 8 yrs old. I am having such a hard time dealing with her loss. If I had gotten rid of Ken she would probaly still be here.

Thanks for listening.

Sandy
