It's Happening Again
Aug 31, 2002

Hi,
I am currently experiencing my 2nd miscarriage in 5 months. After the first, I was sure this one would be fine, surely I couldn't have 2. Unfortunately I did, & it is taking ages to come out. last time it just happened, this time I have had so many blood tests from different doctors, as mine is away on holidays. The last doctor I saw was concerned about my reynards disease, as it is a form of lupus & this can be associated with multiple miscarriages. So I am now waiting for those results. Another said that my progesterone levels might not be high enough to sustain a preg. I didn't have aperiod for about 8 months last year, & she thought my body may not yet be ready. So, I am going to an obst on Sep 26th (earliest I could get), & shall return to my naturapath to build up my immune system again, & wait for the lupus results. I would like to thank you for such a wonderful web site. It seems to help to read stories, & chat with others who have been through this. All my friends over here have wonderful children, & sailed through their pregnancies. I am coping Ok,but I hate being by myself. my husband had to return to work, so I have been arriving at mum & dads every day. I am also a bit concerned that time might be running out for us. Eric has just turned 40, and I am nearly 34.
Thank you again for such a great site,
Carolynxx
