Hurting the One You Love
Nov 26, 2002

My girlfriend miscarried last year. The pregnancy wasn't planned and I think if things had proceeded normally then we might have decided on an abortion anyway. It still hurts though. At the moment I can't think about the child, the fact I could of had a son or daughter laying in my arms now. At the moment my thoughts turn to my girlfriend. The loss that she must have felt. Whatever anybody says, I will always feel that I had a hand in causing her suffering. The worst feeling in the world is knowing that you caused the one you love most to hurt.

I think she is only now beginning to deal with it. It scares me that someday I will too.
