I Never Knew

After trying to conceive for almost a year I finally got pregnant! I was so happy! I saw an obstetrician and he said everything looked great. He sent me for an ultrasound to confim the pregnancy. As soon as I looked at the technicians face; I knew there was a problem. She said it only looked like a 4and a half week pregnancy instead of 6. Being a nurse myself, I knew right then and there that this was a sign of an impendng miscarriage.Two days after the ultrasound I miscarried. I never knew that loosing a pregnancy would be so painful. I thought each day things would get easier but they seem to only be getting worse.
