I'll Never Get Over It
Jan 04, 2003

On October 7, 1999 I was leaving my work I stopped off at my house to check on things and my youngest son was home. We talked alittle and he said he was going to give blood that afternoon, I told him I was going to Tim's house (my boyfriend at the time)and I went there then went shopping when I drove back into Tim's driveway he came out yelling to get out of the car and get in the house. He told me that he recieved a call from the nurse i worked with she told him that my youngest son was at the hospital and had been beat up badly, we rushed to the hospital to the ER and the nurse there put us in this small room. The nurse came in and told me that my son was SHOT not beat up, I went crazy, then the doctor came in and told us that my 20 yr old son did not make it. To this day I only know what happened after I was told by my (husband now)because I totally lost it and to this day I am not over and not know if I will ever be over it
