Prisoners of Grief
Nov 09, 2002

Prisoners of Grief
LindaC

Like a thief in the night
Death steals from us.
Our children, so precious ae its' victims.

We are prisoners of grief.
It has intruded on our hearts
And left us in anguish
As we deal with everlasting pain.

We are left inconsolable.
There are no words to ease our pain.
Our heart will never be the same again.
This is a pain that will never end.

My heart breaks over and over again.
I have been robbed of my son.
Death has taken away his pain
The pain is now imbedded in my heart.

Death, the cruel thief visited here
And in its' trail so very much pain.
In an instant my life was changed.
I am a victim of death.
