This was written by Jared's great aunt.
Look beside you Jesus,
there's someone at your side,
a sweet smiling little boy,
who needs you as his guide.
You'll know he's Jared if his smile could melt a heart of stone,
He needs you,
He has never,
In his short life been alone.
If there's a puppy's soul up there,
Please bring the two together,
For boys and dogs do love to romp,
Through fields of sun and heather.
Please kiss his silky cheek at night,
and give him joy and peace,
The glow he brought our souls and hearts
will never ever cease.
Jared was in our lives a short time but he will be in our hearts for all time.
