I'll Never Forget
Sep 18, 2002

My miscarriage was in 1976. I'll never forget the day I found out my baby had died. It was extremely painful and devastating. This was my second child and it took me 4 years to get pregnant. After the miscarriage it took another year to get pregnant again. The emotional pain is incredible. Back then people didn't understand the emotional pain involved and told you to get on with your life. My husband and I grieved for a long time. I still think of this baby. It was too soon to know what it was and there was a problem with the development of the child. I know he/she is in a better place and with his/her grandparents who are taking care of him/her and loveing him/her.
