My World Turned Upside Down

On July 13, 2002 my world was turned upside down. Our 20 mth old girl, Raelyn drowned in a friends pool. She was only out of site 2 minutes and when we started looking for her, we ruled out the pool. We had rolled back the cover and not seen her so proceded to do a 30 minute search involving the police, HAWKS helicopter ( we thought maybe she was taken). After 30 minutes of her missing, the pool was checked again ( it had been checked many times and ruled out) only to find Raelyn under a corner of the pool cover ( it was more like bubble wrap). We hadnt rolled the pool cover back all the way, we missed a few inches. She was floating in the corner. They tried everything they could do, they even flew her to the childrens hospital. It was oviously too late. She had been in the water too long. Our precious baby went to be with the lord that night and our lives will never be the same.
