I Can't Take Away the Pain

I say adult because Scott was 22 yrs old when he died last Monday night. But to me he was just a young person on a motorcycle perhaps going to fast when a truck pulled in front of him and ended his life. He was my sons very best friend of 17yrs. He lived right across the street from us and we saw him everyday. My husband and I loved him too. My son was right behind him when it happened and tried to do cpr on him before the rescue people could get there ....but there was so much damage. He was a great guy. I don't know how to help my son thru this. Its so hard to see him hurting and being his mother I should be able to help him but I can't take this pain away. What can I do?
They did everything together. I just don't know what I should do. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
