Hold me in your arms awhile
My head resting on your shoulder.
I need the strength I feel there
For I feel so very weak.
I yearn to feel protected
From all lifes' cares and trials.
Just hold me and tell me I'll be okay.
Let me draw solace from your warmth.
I feel so very fragile
Others see me as strong.
I'm tired of putting on a front.
I need someone to take care of me.
I am so very weary.
Somedays life just seems too much.
I just need to rest in your arms
And have you tell me I'll be alright.
