Heartsong - feelings from the heart.
Some days a wonderful melody
Bringing precious memories of one recently lost.
Other days it becomes a dirge
And I am left with sorrowful thoughts.
Music brings a range of emotions.
A constant reminder of happier times.
It has the power to heal me.
Its' notes give comfort to my heart.
Our taste in music were different.
Yet music spoke to us both.
We understood the passions it brought.
We knew the necessity of having it in our lives.
I sing for you my son.
Seem it is all I can do.
The music used to speak to me.
Now what can I do?
You had such a gift with music.
I so miss hearing you play.
I know I'll hear you forever
Playing in my heart.
Music binds us together.
We both felt the need.
