All I ask is to be held close in someone's arms.
To feel quiet, understanding comfort.
I just want to be held.
To feel safe for just a moment.
I want to feel free to let the tears come
Allowing my grief to appear.
To feel safe in someone's arms
And to find peaceful comfort there.
I am so very weary.
No one seems to understand.
My emotions are so raw and new.
Let me rest in your arms.
I just want to feel cared for for a moment.
I want to feel someone else's strength.
I need to know I am cared about.
Please, can you just hold me?
