PAIN
Sep 05, 2002

PAIN

Pain in the rawest form
A slow, unending dying deep in your soul
Pain that will never end but pounds away
At the very depths of your soul
Unrelenting

How does one go on after such a loss
Time stands still. each moment endless
While all around you the world goes on
Oblivious to so much pain

Unanswered questions, could anything have been handled differently
We'll never know
We go through the motions trying to be what people expect
They can never know or understand the devestation of such a loss

So many hopes and dreams
Expectations now trampled, never to be realized
Too many what ifs, haunting memories
Nights never ending, How to go on

We struggle through and know that we will learn to cope
And in the distant future it will be better.
